Training Programs Designed to Enhance Driving Abilities
Oregon Truck Academy: CDL Training Refresher Catalog
The following Refresher Training Fees are not included in the cost of training:
Drug Screen: $70.00
DOT Physical: (Varies depending on provider) $100.00
DMV Written Testing for Commercial Learner's Permit: $30.00
DMV Commercial Learner's Permit Issuance fee: $40.00
State CDL Driving and Skills Test: $300
DMV License Upgrade Fee: $200.00
Program 102R: 4 Hour Refresher Training
Yard: Program consists of instruction and verbal evaluation of pre-trip, couple/un-couple tractor-trailer, backing maneuvers.
Road: Instruction and verbal evaluation of driving skills in urban, rural, freeway driving conditions.
Program 103R: 8 Hour Refresher Training
Yard: Program includes training and verbal evaluation of pre-trip, couple/un-couple tractor-trailer, backing maneuvers.
Road: Instruction and evaluation of rural, urban, freeway, and/or mountain driving conditions and a visit to the Ashland Port of Entry for scale etiquette.
Program 104R: 20 Hour Refresher Training
Classroom: (4 Hours) Instruction in Log Books, Commercial Motor Vehicle driver basics.
Yard: (8 Hours) Instruction for Pre-trip inspection, couple/un-couple tractor-trailer, brake inspections, sliding tandems and 5th wheels, backing maneuvers.
Road: (8 Hours) Training in rural, urban, freeway and/or mountainous areas, visit to the Ashland Port of Entry for scale etiquette.
Certificate of Completion of CMV Driver Basics.
Written Evaluation of Yard and Road Skills.
Program 105R: 40 Hour Refresher Training
Classroom: (6 Hours) Instruction in Log Books, Electronic Log Books, Commercial Motor Vehicle driver basics.
Yard: (17 Hours) Training for pre-trip inspection, couple/un-couple tractor-trailer, sliding tandems and 5th wheel, backing maneuvers.
Road: (17 Hours) Training in driving rural, urban, freeway and mountainous areas and a visit to the Ashland Port of Entry for scale etiquette.
Certificate of Completion of CMV Driver Basics.
Written Evaluation of Yard and Road Skills.
